Arran Stephens is a Vancouver born Canadian, whose father was one of the early organic farming pioneers. Arran opened the first vegetarian restaurant (Golden Lotus) in Vancouver.
At about the same time that Community Foods came in to existence, Arran started one of America’s first Natural Food companies - Lifestream. On two sides of the Atlantic, two companies came in to existence, motivated by similar needs and a desire to change the status quo.
Natures Path was established by Arran, a little later in 1985 at his old restaurant in Vancouver and today is the leading brand of organic cereals in the United States. See www.naturespath.com . |
