17.03.10: Crazy Jack Vanilla Pods stand up to unfair labour claim

The Sunday Times Newspaper recently released a report about a country that is well known for producing some of the word’s highest quality Vanilla in world, Madagascar. This report, entitled ‘Bitter Plight of the Vanilla trade children’ exposes a culture of forced and child labour, long working hours and poor wages.
Aware of these big problems facing this island, Community Foods made a conscious decision when sourcing for Crazy Jack to only buy Fair-trade Organic Vanilla pods.

11.03.10: MARK FULLER: ORGANIC FOOD IS A CON

The Daily Express have recently revealed restaurateur and hotel owner Mark Fuller believes the obsession with organic food is nothing more than a con and it’s a far more realistic concept for restaurants to become sustainable instead.
