Community Foods are looking for a new Business Development Manager
We own a number of successful organic and healthy lifestyle brands, one of which is ready for a push into new sectors.
Working within the Retail National Accounts team, you will be responsible for selling into new territories; high street convenience, fine foods plus wholesale cash and carry. Tarantella is already established in the supermarket and health food sector. The brand has a long history in the UK and is known for its high quality organic canned tomatoes and passata. You will be opening and then growing new accounts with full P&L responsibility. The role is field based but with a requirement to spend one day a week at our head office in Witham, Essex.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Truthfully, someone who will just get on and win new business. That's not to say we won't give you full training and ongoing support, but we would expect to work with a dynamic salesperson who is keen to make a name for themselves. Clearly, you will be numerate and possess decent presentation skills, but the drive from within to succeed will be hugely important to us. Ideally, you will bring bona fide contacts from the sector with you.
