Our Background & Exprience
Driven by a passion for healthy living and encouraged by a gap in the pre-pack market, Day Plus One Ltd, the Community Foods private label facility, was set up over 20 years ago. At a time when the demand for whole foods was just developing, and when organic food was still nothing more than a niche market, Day Plus One Ltd worked from a single unit and sold their finished products on a local market stall. As interest in healthy products started to grow and more health food shops and wholesalers started to open, production moved to a new much larger site in Manor House and, the business began to grow.
In April 2008, Day Plus One Ltd was acquired by Community Foods Ltd, who had been a major supplier since its inception. Community have been pioneers of natural & organic food since 1971, so it was a perfect fit to join the experts in sourcing quality food ingredients with the experts in packing them.
Our Private Label Service
As Day
Plus One Ltd has grown, we have become more and more
aware of the importance of customer branding and as we have evolved as
a private label company,
so have our services to our customers. As a result we now specialise
in supplying our entire product range under a customer’s individual
brand label, and are happy to offer this bespoke service to everyone – no
matter how large or small the order.
We provide our customers with the option of choosing to design their own full colour label (initial set up costs involved) or to use our own free generic labels (which are overprinted with company details and logo in black and white) to produce their own brand of pre-packs. While our rigorous quality control provides a benchmark for the industry, we pride our self on supplying only the best, natural and healthy food products available.
At Day Plus One Ltd, we are proud to offer a truly personalised service. We aim to meet every individual customer’s requirements, whether this involves sourcing a particular product, creating a unique product mix, or packing to a specific deadline.
