All our traders have strong links with the supply base simply due to the fact that they travel! Since the inception of Community, we have built relationships with growers, producer groups and processors to ensure supply to specification of an increasing range of goods.Our teams travel regularly to meet their key suppliers and in conjunction with the technical team have worked in close relationship with our suppliers to ensure that the product and factories comply with customer requirements in the UK.Such is the strength and experience of our supplier relationships that we are successful exporters of product as well as importers
Product Pioneers
We have pioneered the availability of many crops including organic sultanas, figs, hazelnuts and apricots as just some of the examples of the projects we have been involved in. We have helped introduce new pest control and residue control tests to many of the suppliers we have worked with, improving quality and consistency of product over time.
